I have over 15 years’ experience in recruitment. In 2011, I founded Banzai People Limited, a specialist recruitment to recruitment business. I am often asked why I chose the name Banzai (which tends to be like marmite to most people I have since discovered!). I once read that Banzai means enthusiasm this is both a vital quality for recruiters and also a principle by which I run my business. Prior to R2R I worked as a 360 IT contract recruiter and enjoyed good success working across a number of clients and billing over £0.5 million a year for a number of years. I was promoted through the ranks to Sales Director running the contract division. A key part of my role was to interview and identify talent so I gained an excellent understanding of what makes recruiters tick. This experience was my inspiration for moving into R2R.
